    Bloom's Bloom's Literature database provides everything needed to research authors, works, characters, topics and themes. Biographical information and analysis are available for most classic and popular authors. The Shakespeare Center provides a large variety of resources devoted to Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. Ask your teacher or librarian for the access user and password or find the information on the Bloom's poster in the media center window.

     

    AVL The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. Many of the AVL's online books are available in the RHS online collection which can be accessed through OPAC. If you have trouble accessing the AVL, please see your librarian.

     OPAC OPAC is the Online Public Access Catalog for the RHS reference and non-reference collections. Many eBook titles are available in OPAC. Some are AVL titles and other titles have been purchased. In OPAC, eBooks are recognizable by their online status and by the instructions, under the book title, to click on a provided link. Also, after entering a search term in OPAC and searching, one may use the "material types" option to choose eBooks.
