The Human Services Career Cluster encompasses multiple pathways with a variety of educational opportunities. A variety of courses are offered through our schools in this program area including Family and Community Services (FACS); Fashion; Food & Nutrition, Wellness, and Dietetics and Cosmetology.
The Career Tech Student Organization for Cosmetology is SkillsUSA, whose activities help students develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
The Career Tech Student Organization for Family and Consumer Services Programs is Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) whose activities help students develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
Students participating in this path may have an opportunity to earn a Career Ready Benchmark either a ServSafe Certification or a Certified Guest Service Professional Certification.
